Written documentation for the tune is required.

A good on-line source of period tunes popular in England is The Music of the
Sixteenth Century Broadside Ballad which includes many tunes both
written and as MIDI files so you can listen to them.
- appropriateness to the theme and the event
- period "feel"

Open Bardic (non-competitive)
On Saturday evening
there will be an Open Bardic Fire. Everyone is encouraged to join in
for 'Pick, Pass, or Play' and all types of performances are welcome.
